The Club 50 Pool, Hot Tub and Showers have been shut down while work is being done on the moisture/condensation and electrical problems within the building.  All other Club 50 activities are scheduled as planned.  While the showers are closed, the bathrooms will still remain open.  Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Please Note the Following Changes:

Burn Pit: Will be on winter schedule: Open Wed, Sat, Sun 10am - 4pm.

Sales (DMT): Open Tues, Thurs & Fri 10am - 4pm. Open Sat 9am - 3pm. Closed Mon, Wed & Sun.

Store: Open Wed - Sun 10am - 6pm. Closed Mon & Tues.

BE Prepared:

Do you have 7 days of food and water in case of another big snow? Some items good to have on hand are: Flashlights, extra batteries/bulbs, whistle, First Aid Kit, camp or sterno stove for cooking, canned goods, can opener, warm blankets and of course plenty of water.

Please remember if you are on oxygen or have special needs, contact the Admin Office at (360) 652-7520 and ask about the “Check Me First” list.

Proper Identification: Please ensure that when you come into the Administration Office to conduct business, you will need your membership card and picture Identification.  You will also need this for writing passes at the ranger base and picking up mail at the Port Susan Mailroom.

Mail Center Request:  Please ensure that all your mail from friends, family and businesses include your Mail Box Number.  The staff is spending a great deal of time looking up names to find the correct mail box number, which could cause a delay in delivering your mail.

PARK COMMITTEES

If you are interested in joining any of the park committees please send an email to raquel@portsusancamping.com a letter of interest or drop it in the Admin. office. You may also appear at the meetings of any of the three committees. All three committees meet at the Adult Center Card Room.

The Architectural Committee meets at 11:00 am every Wed.

The Greenbelt Committee meets the first Wed of every month at 1:00 pm.

The Violation Committee meets the second Sat of every month at 9:30 am.

Internet Club

President Charles (Chuck) Walters

Location and hours—the Internet Club’s Internet Center is located just inside the front gate. It is opened 24/7 throughout the year.

All of the workstations near the Center’s windows have now been upgraded to Windows 7. Non-windows programs like Adobe’s flash are being installed as time and opportunity permit. If you find something missing, please let Chuck know.

Please note that files created by users are routinely removed from Internet Center workstations. This is done to protect member privacy and security. Members are encouraged to obtain a flash drive.

Microsoft Office is not installed on Internet Center workstations. Open Office is installed and can be used to create text documents, presentations and spread sheets.

EMERGENCY CONTACTS: Please make sure a contact person for you is listed at Admin in case of emergencies. This could be a relative, neighbor or friend - inside or outside the park. This is very important especially if you live here alone.
